Choosing Kindness, Every Day
Dear San Patricio Community,
This week, our school is taking part in the Great Kindness Challenge, an initiative carried out in schools around the world that invites students to put kindness into action in a meaningful and intentional way. It’s not just about talking about kindness, but about practicing it through everyday actions.
Throughout the week, our students are actively participating by completing daily acts of kindness, simple actions that encourage them to reflect on how their words, gestures, and choices impact those around them. A greeting, a helping hand, or a kind word can make a meaningful difference in someone else’s school experience.
At San Patricio International School, this challenge holds special meaning, as we are a Kindness Certified School. This certification represents an ongoing commitment to fostering a positive, respectful, and empathetic environment where every member of our community feels valued and heard.
Families play a key role in reinforcing this learning at home. Taking time to talk with your children about the acts of kindness they are practicing, recognizing their efforts, and modeling kindness in daily life helps strengthen these values in a natural and lasting way.

Elegir la amabilidad, todos los días
Querida comunidad San Patricio:
Esta semana, en nuestro colegio estamos viviendo el Great Kindness Challenge, una iniciativa que se lleva a cabo en escuelas alrededor del mundo y que invita a nuestros alumnos a poner la amabilidad en acción de manera intencional y consciente. No se trata solo de hablar de ser amables, sino de practicarlo en los pequeños detalles del día a día.
Durante estos días, nuestros alumnos están participando activamente en el reto realizando actos diarios de amabilidad, acciones sencillas que los invitan a reflexionar sobre cómo sus palabras, gestos y decisiones impactan a quienes los rodean. Un saludo, una ayuda o una palabra de ánimo pueden transformar por completo la experiencia escolar de alguien más.
En San Patricio International School, este reto tiene un significado especial, ya que somos un Kindness Certified School. Esta certificación representa un compromiso que vivimos de forma constante: fomentar una convivencia positiva, empática y respetuosa, donde cada miembro de la comunidad se sienta valorado y escuchado.
Desde casa, las familias juegan un papel clave en este proceso. Conversar con sus hijos sobre los actos de amabilidad que realizan, reconocerlos y también modelarlos en lo cotidiano refuerza este aprendizaje de manera profunda y natural.
Gracias por sumarse a esta iniciativa y por acompañarnos en la formación de personas conscientes, empáticas y comprometidas con el bienestar de los demás. 사랑하는 San Patricio 가족 여러분,
이번 주 우리 학교에서는 전 세계 여러 학교에서 함께 진행되는 Great Kindness Challenge에 참여하고 있습니다. 이 캠페인은 친절에 대해 이야기하는 데서 그치지 않고, 일상 속에서 의도적으로 친절을 실천하도록 학생들을 초대하는 의미 있는 활동입니다.
학생들은 한 주 동안 매일의 친절한 행동에 적극적으로 참여하며, 자신의 말과 행동, 선택이 주변 사람들에게 어떤 영향을 미치는지 생각해 보는 시간을 갖고 있습니다. 인사 한마디, 도움의 손길, 따뜻한 말 한마디가 누군가의 학교 생활을 훨씬 더 긍정적으로 바꿀 수 있습니다.
