A New Journey Begins

Dear Parents and Students,

I hope this message finds you enjoying a well-deserved break at the end of the school year. I am writing to you with great excitement and joy to introduce myself as the new Head of Campus Del Paseo. My name is Marisa Fernández, and I have had the privilege of being part of this wonderful institution for the past 31 years.

Throughout my career at the school, I have held various roles, from Elementary and Middle School teacher to Academic Coordinator for Middle and High School. For the past two years, I have had the honor of serving as the Middle School Principal at Campus Del Paseo. These years have been enriching and have allowed me to deeply understand our educational community.

I hold a degree in Education and a master’s in High School Education from ITESM. On a personal note, I am married and have three grown children, all proudly educated at San Patricio International School. My passions include family, education, and cooking, and I am deeply committed to the well-being and holistic development of our students.

I am very excited about this new challenge and eagerly look forward to starting the next school year. I hope to have the opportunity to meet each family personally and work together to continue building a bright future for our children.

I wish you all a happy vacation. See you in August with renewed energy and enthusiasm to begin a new chapter in our beloved institution.

Comienza una Nueva Etapa

Queridos padres de familia y alumnos:

Espero que este mensaje les encuentre disfrutando de un merecido descanso al final de este ciclo escolar. Me dirijo a ustedes con gran entusiasmo y alegría para presentarme como la nueva Directora del Campus del Paseo. Mi nombre es Marisa Fernández y he tenido el privilegio de formar parte de esta maravillosa institución durante los últimos 31 años.

A lo largo de mi trayectoria en el colegio, he desempeñado diversos roles, desde maestra titular de Primaria y Secundaria, hasta Coordinadora Académica de Secundaria y Preparatoria. Los últimos dos años he tenido el honor de ser la Directora de Secundaria del Campus del Paseo. Estos años han sido enriquecedores y me han permitido conocer a fondo nuestra comunidad educativa.

Soy licenciada en Educación y tengo una maestría en Educación Media Superior por el ITESM. En lo personal, estoy casada y tengo tres hijos profesionistas, todos orgullosamente formados en San Patricio International School. Mis pasiones incluyen la familia, la educación y la cocina, y me siento profundamente comprometida con el bienestar y el desarrollo integral de nuestros alumnos.

Estoy muy emocionada por este nuevo reto y con muchas ganas de iniciar el próximo ciclo escolar. Espero tener la oportunidad de conocer personalmente a cada familia y trabajar juntos para seguir construyendo un futuro brillante para nuestros hijos.

Aprovecho para desearles unas felices vacaciones. Nos vemos en agosto con renovadas energías y mucho entusiasmo para comenzar un nuevo capítulo en nuestra querida institución.

학부모님과 학생 여러분께,

학년 말에 자격 있는 휴식을 즐기고 계시길 바랍니다. 저는 Del Paseo의 새로운 캠퍼스 교장으로서 자신을 소개하게 되어 매우 기쁩니다. 제 이름은 Marisa Fernández이며, 지난 31년 동안 이 멋진 기관의 일원이 되는 특권을 누렸습니다.

학교에서의 경력 동안, 저는 초등학교와 중학교 교사에서부터 중고등학교 학업 코디네이터까지 다양한 역할을 수행했습니다. 지난 2년 동안 저는 Paseo 캠퍼스에서 중등학교 교장으로 봉사하는 영광을 누렸습니다. 이 시기는 매우 풍부한 경험이었으며, 우리 교육 공동체를 깊이 이해할 수 있게 해주었습니다.

저는 ITESM에서 교육 학사 학위와 중등 교육 석사 학위를 취득했습니다. 개인적으로 저는 결혼했으며, 세 명의 성인이 된 자녀들이 모두 산 파트리시오 학교에서 자랑스럽게 교육을 받았습니다. 제 열정은 가족, 교육, 요리이며, 저는 학생들의 복지와 전인적 발전에 깊이 헌신하고 있습니다.

이 새로운 도전에 매우 흥분되며, 다음 학년이 시작되기를 간절히 기대하고 있습니다. 각 가정을 직접 만나고, 우리 아이들의 밝은 미래를 계속해서 함께 만들어 나갈 수 있기를 바랍니다.

모두에게 행복한 방학을 기원합니다. 8월에 새로운 에너지와 열정으로 우리 사랑하는 기관에서 새로운 장을 시작하기를 기대합니다.
