Celebrating Friendship, Sharing, and Connection
Dear San Patricio Community,
This week at school, we will be focusing on one of the most important values in our students’ lives: friendship. Valentine’s Day gives us a wonderful opportunity to reinforce the importance of treating others with respect, empathy, and kindness, and to recognize that the relationships built at school leave a lasting impact beyond the classroom.
Friendship teaches children and young people how to listen, share, resolve differences, and support one another. Through these relationships, students learn to understand others’ perspectives, appreciate differences, and build healthy connections that contribute to their emotional and social development.
At school, we will celebrate this occasion on Friday the 13th with different activities designed for students to spend time together and enjoy each other’s company. On that day, students may come dressed in jeans or sweatpants and a Valentine’s-themed T-shirt, adding a fun touch to the celebration.
We appreciate the ongoing support of our families in the integral formation of our students. When school and home work together, values like friendship are lived in a more meaningful and authentic way.
Let’s continue encouraging our students to build relationships based on respect, empathy, and the joy of sharing with others.

Celebrar la amistad, compartir y convivir
Querida comunidad San Patricio,
Esta semana, en el colegio hablaremos y viviremos uno de los valores más importantes en la vida de nuestros alumnos: la amistad. El Día de San Valentín es una buena oportunidad para reforzar la importancia de convivir con respeto, empatía y cariño, y para recordar que los lazos que se construyen en la escuela dejan huella mucho más allá del aula.
La amistad enseña a nuestros niños y jóvenes a escuchar, a compartir, a resolver diferencias y a apoyarse mutuamente. A través de estas relaciones aprenden a ponerse en el lugar del otro, a valorar las diferencias y a crear vínculos sanos que fortalecen su desarrollo emocional y social.
En el colegio celebraremos esta fecha el viernes 13 con diferentes actividades para que los alumnos convivan. Ese día, los estudiantes podrán asistir vestidos con jeans o pants y una playera con temática de San Valentín.
Agradecemos a las familias por acompañarnos siempre en la formación integral de sus hijos. Cuando escuela y hogar trabajan juntos, valores como la amistad se viven de manera más auténtica y significativa.

우정을 나누고 함께하는 시간
사랑하는 San Patricio 가족 여러분,
이번 주 학교에서는 학생들의 삶에서 매우 중요한 가치인 우정에 대해 함께 생각하고 경험하는 시간을 갖습니다. 발렌타인 데이는 서로를 존중하고 공감하며 따뜻하게 대하는 것의 중요성을 되새기고, 학교에서 형성된 관계가 교실을 넘어 오래도록 이어진다는 것을 돌아볼 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다.
우정은 아이들과 청소년들에게 듣는 법, 나누는 법, 갈등을 해결하는 법, 그리고 서로를 지지하는 법을 가르쳐 줍니다. 이러한 관계 속에서 학생들은 다른 사람의 입장을 이해하고, 차이를 존중하며, 정서적·사회적으로 건강한 관계를 만들어 가게 됩니다.
학교에서는 13일 금요일, 학생들이 함께 어울릴 수 있도록 다양한 활동과 함께 이 날을 기념할 예정입니다. 이날 학생들은 청바지나 운동복 바지와 발렌타인 데이 테마의 티셔츠를 입고 등교할 수 있어, 더욱 즐겁고 편안한 분위기를 만들 예정입니다.
항상 자녀들의 전인적 성장을 위해 함께해 주시는 학부모님들께 감사드립니다. 가정과 학교가 함께할 때, 우정과 같은 소중한 가치들은 더욱 자연스럽고 깊이 있게 자리 잡게 됩니다.
