Committed to What We Do and Who We Are
Dear San Patricio Community,
This month at our school, we are reflecting on a value that truly shapes our students’ character: being committed. Commitment goes beyond simply completing a task; it means taking responsibility for our decisions, sustaining effort even when challenges arise, and remaining consistent in what we begin.
In everyday school life, commitment is visible in concrete actions: students who meet deadlines, study with discipline, honor agreements, and participate actively in class. We also see it in those who take part in sports teams, artistic performances, and academic projects, understanding that belonging to something means giving their very best.
Being committed is an attitude that is learned and strengthened through example. As a community, we have the opportunity to model consistency between what we say and what we do. When students understand that steady effort leads to meaningful results, they begin building habits that will guide them throughout their lives.
We are grateful to our families for reinforcing this value at home and for partnering with us in this shared mission. Let us continue working together to form responsible, perseverant students who understand the impact of their actions.

Comprometidos con lo que hacemos y con quienes somos
Estimada comunidad San Patricio:
Este mes en nuestro colegio estamos reflexionando sobre un valor que marca la diferencia en la formación de nuestros alumnos: estar comprometidos. El compromiso no es solo cumplir con una tarea; es asumir con responsabilidad nuestras decisiones, sostener el esfuerzo aun cuando surgen retos y responder con constancia a lo que hemos iniciado.
En el día a día escolar, el compromiso se refleja en acciones concretas: alumnos que entregan a tiempo, que estudian con disciplina, que respetan acuerdos y que participan activamente en clase. También lo vemos en quienes forman parte de equipos deportivos, presentaciones artísticas y proyectos académicos, entendiendo que pertenecer implica dar lo mejor de sí.
Ser comprometidos es una actitud que se aprende y se fortalece con el ejemplo. Como comunidad, tenemos la oportunidad de modelar coherencia entre lo que decimos y lo que hacemos. Cuando nuestros estudiantes comprenden que el esfuerzo constante genera resultados, comienzan a construir hábitos que los acompañarán toda la vida.

사랑하는 San Patricio 커뮤니티 여러분,
이번 달 우리 학교에서는 학생들의 인격 형성에 중요한 가치를 함께 생각해 보고 있습니다. 바로 ‘책임감 있게 헌신하는 태도(Commitment)’입니다. 책임감 있는 태도란 단순히 해야 할 일을 마치는 것을 넘어, 자신의 선택에 책임을 지고 어려움이 있어도 꾸준히 노력하며 시작한 일을 끝까지 이어가는 자세를 의미합니다.
학교생활 속에서 이러한 책임감은 구체적인 모습으로 나타납니다. 정해진 기한을 지키고, 성실하게 준비하며, 약속을 존중하고, 수업에 적극적으로 참여하는 모습 속에서 우리는 그 가치를 봅니다. 또한 스포츠 활동이나 예술 발표, 다양한 학업 프로젝트에 참여하며 공동체의 일원으로서 최선을 다하는 태도에서도 이를 확인할 수 있습니다.
책임감은 가르침과 본보기를 통해 자라나는 가치입니다. 우리 모두가 말과 행동이 일치하는 모습을 보여줄 때, 학생들은 꾸준한 노력이 의미 있는 결과로 이어진다는 사실을 배우게 됩니다. 그리고 이러한 경험은 평생 이어질 중요한 습관으로 자리 잡게 됩니다.
