Institutional Email Adjustments

Parents

Dear Parents,

We want to inform you about privacy and information exchange control adjustments aimed at protecting minors. These adjustments will affect educational accounts under the Google Workspace for Education scheme, which includes the institutional domain (@sanpatricio.edu.mx), starting from October 17th.

The following changes are as follows:

The age category for student accounts will be adjusted. Parent accounts will not undergo changes at this moment; however, we encourage parents to exclusively use their institutional emails (personal or family @sanpatricio.edu.mx) for communication with the school.
Google’s educational suite applications (Drive, Calendar, Classroom, Forms, etc.), as well as the platforms used by the school (Seesaw, Achieve, IXL, Raz Kids, etc.), will remain unchanged.
Access to gaming websites or apps, chat platforms, shopping sites, social networks, and others will be blocked.
If you wish to preserve information or balances in these accounts, you should back them up before the mentioned date. This includes gaming user accounts, virtual currency, skins, robux, profiles, etc.
Access to Google Photos (for sharing, storage, or forums) will be disabled. If your children have images stored there, it will be necessary to back them up.
All backups should be made through parents’ personal accounts (non-institutional @sanpatricio.edu.mx).

We are confident that these adjustments will be beneficial for our community. We will notify you of any other changes in the future.

Students

Dear Students,

We would like to inform you that Google is about to make changes to all accounts assigned to minors. It’s important for you to be aware of this information and keep in mind that your institutional email @sanpatricio.edu.mx, which is managed by this server, will be impacted by the following modifications starting from October 17th:

Google educational apps (Drive, Calendar, Classroom, Forms, etc.), as well as third-party platforms used by the school (Seesaw, Achieve, IXL, Raz Kids, etc.), will not undergo any changes.
Gaming websites or apps, chat platforms, shopping sites, social networks, and others will be blocked.
If you want to preserve information or balances from these accounts, you should discuss it with your parents so they can back them up before the mentioned date. This includes gaming user accounts, virtual currency, skins, Robux, profiles, etc.
Google Photos (for sharing, storage, or forums) will be discontinued, so if you have images stored there, it will be necessary to back them up.

All backups should be made through parents’ personal accounts, with the exception of the use of institutional accounts (@sanpatricio.edu.mx) at all times.

We are confident that these adjustments will be beneficial for our community. We will notify you of any other changes in the future.

Modificaciones a Correos Institucionales

Estimados Padres de Familia:

Hacemos de su conocimiento los ajustes de privacidad y control de intercambio de información para la protección de menores de edad que impactarán, a partir del 17 de octubre del presente, las cuentas educativas del esquema Google Workspace for Education al cual pertenece el dominio institucional (@sanpatricio.edu.mx).

Mencionamos a continuación dichos cambios:

Se ajusta la categoría de menores de edad para cuentas de alumnos. Las de padres de familia no tendrán cambios de momento, no obstante se les exhorta a utilizar exclusivamente sus correos institucionales (personales o de familia @sanpatricio.edu.mx) con fines de comunicación con el Colegio.
Las aplicaciones propias del esquema escolar de Google (Drive, Calendar, Classroom, Forms, etc.), así como las plataformas que utiliza el Colegio no sufrirán ningún cambio (Seesaw, Achieve, IXL, Raz Kids, etc.).
El acceso a sitios o apps de juego, chats, compras, redes sociales, entre otros quedará bloqueado.
Si es de su interés mantener información o saldos de estas cuentas deberá realizar un respaldo de las mismas antes de la fecha mencionada (usuarios de juego, monedas, skins, robux, perfiles, etc.)
Se inhabilitará el acceso a Google Fotos (intercambio, almacenamiento o foros), por lo que si sus hijos tienen imágenes resguardadas, será necesario respaldarlas.
Todo respaldo deberá ser a través de las cuentas personales de los padres de familia (no institucionales @sanpatricio.edu.mx).

Estamos seguros que estos ajustes serán benéficos para nuestra comunidad. Cualquier otro cambio les notificaremos posteriormente.

Alumnos

Estimado Alumno(a):

Te compartimos que Google está por realizar cambios a todas las cuentas asignadas a menores de edad. Es importante que conozcas esta información y que tengas presente que su correo institucional @sanpatricio.edu.mx, al estar manejada por este servidor, a partir del 17 de octubre se verá impactado con las siguientes modificaciones:

Las aplicaciones del esquema escolar Google (Drive, Calendar, Classroom, Forms, etc.), así como las plataformas de terceros que utiliza el Colegio, no sufrirán ningún cambio (Seesaw, Achieve, IXL, Raz Kids, etc.).
Los sitios o apps de juego, chats, compras, redes sociales, entre otros quedarán bloqueados.
Si te interesa mantener información o saldos de estas cuentas deberás platicarlo con tus padres para que realicen el respaldo de las mismas, antes de la fecha mencionada (usuarios de juego, monedas, skins, robux, perfiles, etc.)
Se cancelará Google Fotos (intercambio, almacenamiento o foros), por lo que si tienes imágenes, será necesario respaldarlas.
Todo respaldo deberá ser a través de las cuentas personales de los padres de familia, exceptuando en todo momento el uso de las cuentas institucionales (@sanpatricio.edu.mx).

미성년자의 보호를 목적으로 하는 개인 정보 보호 및 정보 교환 제어 조정 사항에 대해 안내드리고자 합니다. 이러한 조정 사항은 10월 17일부터 적용될 Google Workspace for Education 프로그램의 교육 계정에 영향을 미칩니다. 이 프로그램은 학교의 도메인 (@sanpatricio.edu.mx)을 포함하고 있습니다.

다음과 같은 변경 사항이 있습니다:

이러한 계정에서 정보 또는 잔액을 보존하고 싶다면 언급된 날짜 이전에 백업해야 합니다. 이에는 게임 사용자 계정, 가상 화폐, 스킨, 로벅스, 프로필 등이 포함됩니다.
Google 포토 (공유, 저장, 포럼용)에 대한 액세스가 비활성화됩니다. 귀하의 자녀가 여기에 이미지를 저장한 경우 백업이 필요합니다.
