Their Words, Their Story, Our Pride

Dear San Patricio Family,

With great pride and deep emotion, we’d like to share a very meaningful moment for our senior high school students.

They have walked a long road—full of learning, challenges, and personal growth. Very soon, they will complete a fundamental chapter in their academic and personal journey, and now is a time to pause, to look back with gratitude and forward with hope.

Since 2023, as part of this closing cycle, our fourth-semester students at San Patricio International School have shared their Senior Speech with the community—a deeply meaningful tradition at our school. The Senior Speech is a moment in which each student speaks directly to their classmates, teachers, and families to reflect on their experience, thank those who have supported them, and express their hopes for the future.

This is not just a farewell ritual; it’s a profoundly human act. It allows our young people to give voice to all they’ve lived, to recognize how they’ve grown, and to consciously embrace the new path they are about to begin. It is also a gift for those of us who listen—because it connects us to their stories, moves us, and reminds us of the power of meaningful, intentional education.

We thank our families from the heart for their trust, for walking alongside us throughout these years, and for being the loving foundation that supports each of our students. We are also deeply grateful to our teaching team for their dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment.

And to you, dear students: thank you! Thank you for teaching us so much, for building community, for bringing this school to life with your unique presence. We are proud of all you’ve achieved and have full confidence in everything that’s yet to come.

The Senior Speeches are not a goodbye, but a “see you soon.” They are a bridge between who they’ve been and who they are becoming. Listening to them is the best reminder of why we educate.

Querida familia San Patricio:

Con gran orgullo y una profunda emoción, queremos compartir con ustedes un momento muy significativo para nuestros alumnos del último semestre de preparatoria.
Ellos han recorrido un largo camino, lleno de aprendizajes, desafíos y crecimiento. Pronto culminarán una etapa fundamental en su formación académica y personal, y es momento de hacer una pausa, mirar hacia atrás con gratitud y hacia adelante con esperanza.

Desde 2023, los alumnos de cuarto semestre de prepa de San Patricio International School, como parte de este cierre de ciclo, ofrecen a la comunidad su Senior Speech, una tradición muy significativa en nuestra institución. El Senior Speech es un espacio en el que cada estudiante se dirige a sus compañeros, maestros y familias para compartir su experiencia, reflexionar sobre su paso por la institución, agradecer a quienes los han acompañado y expresar sus anhelos para el futuro.

Este ejercicio no es solo un rito de despedida; es un acto profundamente humano. Les permite a nuestros jóvenes poner en palabras lo vivido, reconocer su evolución y asumir con conciencia el nuevo rumbo que están por emprender. Es también un regalo para quienes los escuchamos, pues nos conecta con sus historias, nos inspira y nos recuerda el impacto del acompañamiento y la educación con sentido.

Agradecemos de corazón a las familias por su confianza, por caminar junto a nosotros en estos años de formación, y por ser el sostén amoroso de cada uno de nuestros estudiantes. Gracias también al equipo docente por su dedicación, paciencia y compromiso inquebrantable.

Y a ustedes, queridos alumnos: ¡gracias! Por enseñarnos tanto, por construir comunidad, por dar vida a esta escuela con su presencia única. Estamos orgullosos de lo que han logrado y confiamos plenamente en lo que vendrá.

Los Senior Speeches no marcan un adiós, sino un “hasta pronto”. Son un puente entre lo que fueron y lo que serán. Escucharlos es el mejor recordatorio de por qué educamos.

이들은 오랜 시간 동안 학습과 도전, 그리고 성장으로 가득한 여정을 걸어왔습니다. 곧 그들은 학문적이면서도 개인적인 여정의 중요한 단계를 마무리하게 됩니다. 지금은 잠시 멈춰 서서, 감사한 마음으로 뒤를 돌아보고 희망을 안고 앞으로 나아갈 때입니다.

2023년부터 San Patricio International School에서는 이 마지막 단계를 기념하기 위해 Senior Speech라는 전통을 이어가고 있습니다. 이 연설은 학생 한 명 한 명이 자신의 경험을 되돌아보고, 학교 생활 속에서 느꼈던 감정, 함께해 준 이들에 대한 감사, 그리고 미래에 대한 기대를 직접 전할 수 있는 소중한 자리입니다.

함께해 주신 모든 가정에 진심으로 감사드립니다. 여러 해 동안 자녀들과 함께 걸어오며 신뢰와 사랑으로 학교 공동체에 기여해 주신 여러분의 헌신에 깊이 감사드립니다. 또한, 인내심과 헌신으로 아이들을 지도해 준 모든 교직원 여러분께도 고마움을 전합니다.

그리고 사랑하는 학생 여러분, 고맙습니다. 우리에게 많은 것을 가르쳐 주고, 이 공동체를 함께 만들어 주며, 여러분만의 특별한 존재감으로 이 학교에 생명을 불어넣어 주어서 감사합니다. 여러분이 이뤄낸 모든 것을 자랑스럽게 생각하며, 앞으로 펼쳐질 미래에 대한 믿음과 기대를 가지고 있습니다.
